IMHO
Just cause you download seven million different gedcoms from others who don't do their OWN research, compiling them all into your own file, giving you a datebase of twenty-five thousand people in your tree, does not a family researcher make.

It's a very sad day indeed when a child gets a phone call on their birthday from a grandparent and the child is shocked to have gotten the phone call.

It's official!
If I didn't think I had a touch of my Grampy's Alzheimer's before, I sure as hell KNOW I do now!!
Here it was, 1:32 p.m., I'm sitting at my computer doing some research, and all of a sudden I hear noise. I knew I wasn't imagining it, cause my cat sitting beside me stopped in mid-lick from cleaning herself and was looking out of the room. I get up, and listen, and sure enough, there is noise that wasn't there a minute ago. I step outside of the office, and it sounds like a really loud television. I'm like wtf?? And head towards the kitchen and stairs to investigate. Once I get closer to the stairs, it begins to sound more like a video game so upstairs I go to investigate. Worrying some nintendo-playing axe murderer might be killing some time before he starts killing some Septy, I hesitantly peek around the corner of my daughter's room and UMMMMMMMM, there is "The Boy"!! What the hell???!!
HEY!! What are you doing?
Hey looks at me like I have two heads, and says "Playing a video game"
I said, um, what are you doing here, you are supposed to be at school??!!
It was at THAT point, I realized that even though I am STILL sure I took the kid back after lunch at 12:45, that I FORGOT to take the kid back at 12:45! Dear god, I am going insane!!

Ra-Ra-Ra! He's Number One!!
Just had to grab my pom-poms and do a cheer for my hubby!!
Friday nights, as usual, are my library research night, so I'm done, and call him to come get me, and we are driving and I ask what he did for the night (we are in the process of completely refinishing the basement). He says "I didn't do anything downstairs, but I did get the kids unload the dishwasher and bring out the dirty dishes so I could put a new load through" HOLY CHIT ON A STICK! And he cleaned off the counter! WITHOUT BEING ASKED????!!!!
HENNY PENNY THE SKY IS FALLING!!
And as if THAT wasn't enough, he also made supper :O for us! Made a stew mmmmmmmmmmm!!
I Love my hubby!! (And the fact it was payday had nothing to do with it! ---this time LMAO)
